Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather detailed patient histories, connecting trauma experiences with current mental health challenges.

• Create and implement tailored treatment plans that focus on resilience-building and trauma recovery, reflecting an understanding of clients' individual backgrounds and needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Deliver engaging individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients process their trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and promote emotional healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and other mental health professionals to deliver integrated care that addresses all aspects of patient well-being.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and ongoing support during trauma-related emergencies or acute distress.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available community resources to foster independence in managing mental health.

• Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and confidential documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves individuals affected by trauma, including those experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our client population is diverse, and your work will involve addressing a range of psychosocial issues that accompany these types of trauma. You will provide healing support to adults and adolescents, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet their diverse needs and unique stories.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Arizona.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an empathetic and non-judgmental attitude.

Compensation and Benefits\n
