Tranquil Horizons Medical PA is actively seeking a dedicated and passionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing healthcare team. As a Physician Assistant, you will be instrumental in assessing, diagnosing, planning, and implementing comprehensive medical care in collaboration with our esteemed physicians. You will operate within the full scope of your licensure, being accountable for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of care. Work Environment

This full-time position is onsite at our hospital facility, allowing you to engage directly with patients and work alongside a stellar team of medical professionals. Your work schedule from Monday to Friday will consist of 40 hours per week, starting with a shift at 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations, while meticulously reviewing patients’ medical histories to inform care decisions.
• Order, analyze, and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood tests and X-rays, ensuring timely and accurate patient diagnostics.
• Diagnose and treat a variety of health conditions and illnesses pertinent to family medicine, applying evidence-based practices.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for chronic and infectious diseases, closely monitoring patient progress.
• Prescribe medications judiciously, while attentively observing and documenting patient responses and reactions.
• Maintain precise and organized patient records and appointment schedules within our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, preventive measures, and follow-up care to empower informed health choices.
• Oversee and manage patients' overall health, promoting healthy lifestyle modifications and preventive care solutions.
• Stay abreast of advancements in primary care through research, continuous education, and involvement in professional development opportunities.

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse patient population, including families and individuals of all ages. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• State licensure as a Physician Assistant in New York.
• Demonstrated experience as a Physician Assistant within a family health clinic or similar healthcare setting.
• Specialization or expertise in family medicine is highly desirable.
• Comprehensive clinical experience in primary care with an emphasis on family health.
• Strong knowledge of health regulations and patient care best practices.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse patient populations.

Compensation and Benefits

Tranquil Horizons Medical PA offers a competitive salary ranging from $140,000 to $160,000 annually, dependent upon experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement savings options, and paid time off.
