Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough physical examinations and assessments of pain disorders in patients, utilizing advanced diagnostic and treatment skills to inform care plans.
• Manage patient treatment plans by collaborating closely with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
• Engage actively in discharge planning and care coordination with case management to help patients transition smoothly from hospital to home.
• Enhance the clinic's operational efficiency by recommending and joining initiatives aimed at improving quality care and cost-effectiveness.
• Document patient encounters meticulously to meet insurance and regulatory requirements while following up on any denials effectively.
• Participate in both inpatient and outpatient consultations, contributing your expertise as part of a consultative approach, including taking part in on-call shifts as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will directly impact the lives of patients suffering from various pain conditions, including but not limited to chronic back pain, arthritis, and post-operative pain management. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• An active Physician Assistant license in the state of New York.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a relevant healthcare setting, preferably within pain management.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with a proven ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in interventional pain management and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities.
• Proficiency in the electronic medical record (EMR) systems utilized in our organization.
• Knowledge of current best practices and treatment methodologies specific to pain management.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary in the range of USD 150,000 to 180,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
