Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote and operates through a telehealth framework, allowing for flexibility and adaptability in scheduling while meeting the varying needs of our clients. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient appointments and crises. Communication with the interdisciplinary team is conducted through electronic health records (EHR) and virtual meeting platforms to ensure seamless collaboration and patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients’ histories and identify the most effective treatment modalities.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental health improvement.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions that empower patients to process their trauma and develop healthy coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for clients facing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families regarding trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and resources for ongoing support.

• Maintain accurate, secure documentation in accordance with regulatory and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development to maintain a high standard of trauma-informed care.

• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with adult clients who have experienced varied forms of trauma. Our patient population is incredibly diverse, representing a wide array of cultural, socioeconomic, and experiential backgrounds. Your focus will be on helping these individuals develop healthy ways to deal with trauma, navigate emotional challenges, and achieve overall mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas is mandatory.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and empathetic skills are essential to connect with clients effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
