Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish and nurture relationships with local, state, federal, and private agencies to promote programs and identify resources for potential partnerships and funding opportunities.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, such as attending workshops, conferences, and representing the organization within the mental health community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Sierra Vista, you will work primarily with individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders. Our patient population is diverse, spanning various age groups and backgrounds, which requires a tailored approach to therapy that recognizes the unique needs of each individual.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health field is required.

• Must possess one of the following independent licenses: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of two years of professional mental health counseling experience is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of record-keeping practices related to beneficiaries’ charts, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• The candidate must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation that meets legal requirements.
