Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through preliminary interviews, systematically documenting each client's journey from initial consultation to treatment conclusion.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address the specific mental, emotional, and behavioral needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that promote healing, learning, and personal growth among participants.
\n
• Monitor and evaluate clients' progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery outcomes.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to create integrated intervention strategies.

• Follow-up with healthcare professionals involved in clients’ hospital care to ensure continuity and quality of treatment.

• Identify barriers to recovery, employing evidence-based practices to mitigate risks and enhance clients' resilience.

• Offer guidance and support to family members and primary caregivers navigating the challenges associated with mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, including adults and adolescents who are experiencing a range of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. As a counselor, your insights will play a critical role in their understanding of their conditions, fostering a safe environment for growth and development.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid state licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW is required.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• A demonstrated ability to effectively evaluate clients and customize treatment strategies based on individual assessments.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in a mental health counseling role is essential.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to document and manage client information efficiently.

• Experience with co-occurring physical and mental health conditions, as well as addiction disorders, will be greatly valued.

• A solid understanding of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices ensures your continued excellence.

• Knowledge of the pharmacological interventions related to client diagnosis and treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
