Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather relevant patient history and understand their trauma experiences, guiding your treatment decisions.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and enhance resilience, monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions that help patients process their trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and foster emotional growth.

• Work in tandem with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that addresses all aspects of your patients' well-being.

• Deliver crisis intervention support during acute trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate safety and therapeutic support.

• Educate patients and family members on trauma responses and coping strategies, promoting understanding and effective management of trauma symptoms.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation per legal and ethical standards, ensuring that patient records are up-to-date and accessible.

• Engage in team consultations and professional development activities aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices within our facility.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in the field of trauma therapy to continually enhance your clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adults and adolescents dealing with trauma-related issues. Many of our clients are survivors of significant adverse experiences, including abuse, neglect, and other forms of trauma. The work you’ll do not only aids in their recovery but helps to empower them to reclaim their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in clinical practice is required.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
