Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each patient's distinctive needs.

• Coordinate closely with medical providers to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to patient care, thereby enhancing treatment effectiveness.

• Offer immediate support during mental health crises, employing de-escalation techniques and intervention strategies to ensure patient safety and stabilization.

• Educate patients on the link between mental health and physical health conditions, promoting self-management strategies that empower individuals in their recovery journeys.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards, facilitating effective treatment planning and continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will primarily serve patients with a wide range of mental health concerns, especially those who are also navigating complex medical issues such as autoimmune disorders, substance use challenges, and chronic pain. Understanding and addressing the interplay between these conditions is crucial for effective therapeutic interventions. You will be instrumental in helping patients manage their symptoms, set obtainable goals, and work through the multifaceted challenges they face.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R, Licensed Psychoanalyst, Psychologist, or LMFT in New York State.
\n
• Strong understanding and experience in addressing the mental health needs of individuals with co-occurring medical conditions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective engagement with patients and collaboration with healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 – 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
