Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support for patients experiencing acute mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Regularly participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities to stay current with best practices and research.

• Advocate for children and adolescents by connecting them and their families with additional resources, such as school support services and community programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of your work will be primarily on children and adolescents aged 5 to 18 years, who are grappling with a variety of mental health conditions. You will engage directly with young patients and their families, encouraging open communication and trust while addressing concerns such as anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, ADHD, and behavioral challenges. Your role is critical in helping these youths attain emotional resilience and improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Expertise in child and adolescent mental health disorders along with proficiency in evidence-based therapies and treatment modalities.

• A proven ability to effectively deliver both individual and family therapy to children and adolescents.

Compensation and Benefits\n
