This remote position offers you the ability to work from the comfort of your home while ensuring regular access to our outpatient office resources. You will enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and personalize treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on achieving trauma recovery and building resilience.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support clients in overcoming their challenges.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and promote positive healing outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate proactively with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure seamless and integrated care for all patients.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and access to immediate help.
\n
• Educate patients and families about the impacts of trauma, available resources, and healthy coping mechanisms.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to strengthen trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay current with emerging research and best practices in trauma therapy, contributing your expertise to our evolving therapeutic landscape.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals affected by various trauma-related conditions, including PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. These individuals may present with a range of unique challenges that require a sensitive, informed approach to their therapy. Your role will be pivotal in facilitating their recovery and fostering a greater understanding of their experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Kansas.
\n
• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders, knowledge of trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building strategies.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills complemented by a compassionate, non-judgmental approach.
\n
• Ability to maintain composure and calmness during high-stress situations, with effective crisis response skills.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in providing trauma-focused therapy or counseling.

• Experience delivering evidence-based trauma therapies.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
