Work Environment

The Family Nurse Practitioner will work onsite within a school facility, providing an opportunity to engage directly with children, adolescents, and their families. The typical work hours will range from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with occasional evening clinics extending until 8:00 p.m., and minimal weekend outreach for community health fairs. This position entails working closely with educators and school staff, fostering an integrated approach to student health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough health assessments and screenings for children and families, identifying both acute and chronic health issues.
• Diagnose and manage various medical conditions, delivering preventive care and promoting overall health and wellness.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and community organizations to design and implement targeted health education programs.
• Proactively offer culturally sensitive care, advocating for patients’ rights and ensuring access to necessary healthcare services.
• Effectively coordinate referrals and follow-up care, maintaining continuity in patient treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Holding a Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution, along with a current Nurse Practitioner certification.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $180,000 to $200,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
