Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, identifying their specific needs and developing tailored treatment plans.
• Implement and manage evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual therapy techniques, and patient education to facilitate recovery.
• Provide high-quality customer service, ensuring an empathetic approach in every patient interaction to foster trust and comfort throughout their rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes, attending regular team meetings to discuss strategies and share insights.
• Administer treatments in a variety of settings, primarily within our center but also extending to home health if required.
• Consult, educate, and train patients and their caregivers, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to manage their health proactively.
• Track and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery trajectories.
• Meet or exceed usage metrics and business objectives, contributing to the growth and success of the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Sutter Care, you will engage with a diverse client population, including patients with orthopedic injuries, pediatric conditions, neurological disorders, and sports-related ailments. Your expertise will be crucial in designing individual care plans that address the unique challenges present in each of these specialties, enhancing overall patient quality of life and mobility.

Qualifications

• A graduate of an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and clinical excellence.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems along with basic computer skills for documentation and scheduling.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting with hands-on patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
