Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work with a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, while accommodating patient needs for occasional scheduling adjustments. As part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team, you will engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to ensure consistency in the high-quality care we provide.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history, ensuring a thorough understanding of their individual needs.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and enhancing individual resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to assist patients in processing trauma.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a therapeutic space for patients to develop effective coping strategies and promote healing.

• Collaborate extensively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure each patient receives integrated and holistic care.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating your ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them to access available resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring documentation supports continuity of care.

• Participate in ongoing professional development activities and team meetings to stay informed on the latest research and practices in trauma therapy.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license in the state of New Jersey.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Ability to provide trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clients in a meaningful way.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

• A collaborative spirit with the capability to work seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, with a focus on trauma therapy preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
