Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will undertake a variety of critical tasks, including:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' history and determine tailored treatment paths.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans centered on trauma recovery, personal growth, and resilience-building strategies.

• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as well as Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients process their trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure a unified approach to each patient's care.

• Responding to crisis situations effectively, providing immediate support and intervention for patients in distress.

• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and resources available for ongoing support.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role is centered around working with a diverse range of patients who have experienced trauma in various forms. As a therapist, you will focus on individuals dealing with PTSD, those suffering from complex trauma, and patients with dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

Compensation and Benefits\n
