Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide comprehensive counseling services, including crisis intervention, assessment, and treatment planning for patients experiencing emotional and behavioral problems.

• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to create and adjust individualized treatment plans that align with the best practices in mental health care.

• Complete and maintain accurate records in accordance with our clinical guidelines, including timely clinical documentation and progress notes.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, ensuring that treatment aligns with recovery-oriented practices to enhance patient outcomes.

• Engage with community resources and represent Shirley Mental Health Services at relevant meetings and committees to advocate for the social needs of our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with a diverse population of clients experiencing a range of mental health issues. This includes those with anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your expertise will be paramount in facilitating their journey toward recovery and emotional stability, providing empathetic support while implementing effective treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Must possess one of the following independent licenses: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• At least two years of professional experience in a mental health counseling role, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic practices.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, additional experience in telehealth counseling, substance use counseling, or working with diverse populations can enhance your application. Familiarity with electronic health record systems is also beneficial for maintaining efficient and accurate client documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
