Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments to understand each client’s unique needs and develop tailored treatment plans focused on their goals.
• Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions, utilizing various modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed approaches.
• Establish clear therapeutic goals and regularly monitor client progress to adjust interventions as necessary.
• Provide teletherapy services that enhance accessibility for clients, particularly those facing geographical or physical barriers.
• Ensure meticulous documentation according to ethical standards and licensing requirements, maintaining accurate records of client interactions and progress notes.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including workshops and training sessions, to stay updated on best practices in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with individuals experiencing diverse mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Our clients often seek support for navigating life transitions, coping with stress, and overcoming personal obstacles. By utilizing a personalized approach to therapy, you will help clients achieve meaningful progress in their mental health journey.

Qualifications

• A current and valid mental health license in California (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or PsyD).
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Empathetic and compassionate mindset with a non-judgmental approach to counseling.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage a caseload and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience

Experience working with telehealth and remote counseling platforms is highly desirable. Candidates with a background in trauma-informed care or specific experience in treating anxiety disorders and mood disorders will be given preference. Familiarity with evidence-based treatment practices will be beneficial in ensuring effective client outcomes.
