Work Environment

This is an onsite position within our cutting-edge rehabilitation facility located in Sayreville, New Jersey. The position requires working an average of 40 hours weekly, with variable weekends as needed. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new patients to determine their physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on their functional limitations.
• Implement treatment programs and carry out therapeutic exercises, manual therapies, and modalities while continuously evaluating progress and making necessary adjustments.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members regarding treatment goals, progress, and discharge plans.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and adhere to all regulatory standards, submitting necessary charges for services provided.
• Engage in leadership roles within the department, participating in community outreach, continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives, and supervising physical therapy aides, students, and support staff.
• Take part in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing education programs to enhance clinical skills and stay abreast of best practices in patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve at Stone Crest Physical Therapy range from post-operative orthopedic rehabilitation clients to those with chronic pain conditions, sports-related injuries, and neurological impairments. You will work collaboratively with a diverse patient population, ensuring you tailor your approach to respect individual backgrounds and personal experiences. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• State licensure to practice physical therapy in New Jersey required.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a physical therapist is preferred. Experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting is advantageous. Compensation and Benefits

The physical therapist position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
