Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that consider each child’s developmental stage, family situation, and specific mental health issues.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy, to effectively address mental health concerns.

• Engage in family therapy sessions to educate and support parents and caregivers in fostering a nurturing environment for their children.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists, social workers, and other professionals to provide comprehensive care that includes coordinating services across disciplines.

• Actively participate in crisis intervention when necessary, providing immediate support during emergency situations involving patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Therapist, you will primarily support children and adolescents dealing with complex mental health conditions, helping to improve their emotional resilience and overall psychological health. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida.

Compensation and Benefits\n
