Position Overview

Atrium Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team in Old Bridge, New Jersey. Work Environment

The selected Physical Therapist will work onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Old Bridge, NJ. This facility is equipped with the latest technology and treatment modalities to enhance patient recovery. Our interdisciplinary team includes experienced professionals who are committed to teamwork and collaboration, ensuring that we provide comprehensive care to our patients. The work schedule includes 40 hours per week, with variable weekend shifts as needed, allowing for flexibility in meeting our patients' rehabilitation needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities, limitations, and goals.
• Design and implement customized treatment plans that align with each patient's unique needs and recovery objectives.
• Consult with other healthcare providers to discuss the patients' continuum of care and optimize therapy outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes, injury prevention, and self-management techniques.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of patient care, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and professional standards.
• Supervise and mentor assigned support staff, including Physical Therapy Assistants and aides, to ensure excellence in patient care delivery.
• Participate actively in community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about physical therapy services and promote health and wellness.
• Attend regular team meetings and engage in continuous professional development through educational workshops and training.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population consists of individuals experiencing various orthopedic conditions, chronic pain, post-surgical recovery, and functional limitations due to age, injury, or illness. As a Physical Therapist at Atrium, you will be responsible for delivering tailored therapy programs that not only address physical impairments but also enhance overall well-being and empower patients to take an active role in their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction and collaboration with team members.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other relevant software applications.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a clinical physical therapy setting.
• Experience with a diverse patient population and understanding of cultural competence in care delivery.
• Leadership experience or a desire to participate in team initiatives and program development.
