This role is designed to be flexible and remote, allowing you to connect with clients in the comfort of their own homes or through our outpatient clinic. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions in clients' homes or at the clinic to deliver tailored support.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices to address behaviors such as anger management, social skills development, and coping strategies.
\n
• Implement strategies to reduce high-risk behaviors, including self-injurious actions and physical aggression, while reinforcing positive behavior change.
\n
• Help caregivers and adolescents enhance their decision-making capabilities to effectively navigate behavioral issues at home.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including client intake forms, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure compliance and continuity of care.

• Participate in monthly team meetings to exchange insights, discuss client progress, and share recommendations for service improvements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary clientele for this role includes children aged 3-20 with a range of developmental disabilities and cognitive challenges. Your work will directly impact these individuals and their families, providing them with the essential tools and support necessary for overcoming personal and interpersonal obstacles. As a key player in their treatment journey, you'll facilitate meaningful change and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a closely related field.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist license is required.

• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.; weekend availability is valued.

• A valid driver’s license and a reliable, registered vehicle are essential for traveling to client locations.
\n
• Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is mandatory.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in positive behavior support techniques is highly preferred.

• Prior work with children, particularly those with intellectual or developmental disabilities, will be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n
