Key Responsibilities\n

As a Clinical Mental Health Therapist, your core responsibilities will include:

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address mood disorders effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals experiencing mood disorders, including conditions like major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. You will work with a varied demographic, ensuring that your therapeutic techniques are culturally sensitive and tailored to meet the diverse backgrounds of your clients.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates should possess:

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker - R Privilege (LCSW-R), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Psychoanalyst, or Psychologist in New York state.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from varied backgrounds, aiming for effective therapeutic alliances.

Preferred Experience\n
