This full-time position allows the flexibility of remote work while being integral to our outpatient office located in El Paso, Texas. Work Environment\n

The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening hours required to accommodate our patients’ needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents to accurately identify their specific needs and challenges.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that are culturally sensitive and consider each patient's developmental stage and family background.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and play therapy, to address mental health concerns like anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to empower parents and caregivers with strategies to nurture their children's mental health.

• Collaborate regularly with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, ensuring comprehensive support for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention during acute mental health situations, employing de-escalation techniques and supportive strategies.
\n
• Educate both patients and their families about mental health disorders, interventions, and local community resources to promote ongoing support.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records in alignment with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case discussions, and opportunities for professional development to continuously enhance your clinical skills.

• Stay abreast of recent research developments and best practices in child and adolescent psychiatry, integrating newfound knowledge into your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on children and adolescents aged 6 to 18, who may present with diverse mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, ADHD, and other behavioral issues. Our aim is to equip these young individuals with the coping skills and supportive frameworks necessary for leading healthier, more fulfilling lives. Your role directly contributes to improving mental health outcomes in this crucial developmental stage.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure in the state of Texas as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

• Extensive knowledge of child and adolescent mental health issues, alongside practical experience in implementing effective treatment modalities.

• Strong background in delivering individual and family therapy with a focus on youth.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, paired with a compassionate, child-centric approach.

• Ability to form trusting relationships with children, adolescents, and their families, fostering a safe therapeutic environment.

• Proficiency in working with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technological tools to enhance patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical mental health setting, specifically serving children and adolescents.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $110,000 annually, commensurate with your education and experience. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a sign-on bonus as part of our incentives.
