While you will conduct most of your sessions online, you will occasionally work in our outpatient office for essential team meetings, training sessions, and community events.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that identify patient strengths, needs, and treatment goals.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing effective therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions to a diverse client base, addressing their unique challenges and fostering their overall mental health and well-being.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups aimed at empowering clients through shared experiences and coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated patient care that addresses mental, emotional, and social needs.

• Deliver crisis intervention services and immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring clients receive the urgent help they need.

• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and available resources in the community, helping them to make informed decisions about their care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in ongoing professional development by attending training sessions and workshops, staying informed about the latest advancements in mental health treatment.

• Engage in regular team meetings and case consultations to share insights and strategies, enhancing the collective understanding of treatment dynamics.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population is diverse, including individuals of various ages, backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses. Patients seeking our services often present with complex mental health issues, allowing you to apply and refine your therapeutic skills with varied cases, ranging from adolescent anxiety to adult substance abuse recovery. You will play a pivotal role in assisting clients in achieving their personal goals and improving their overall mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.

• Strong foundation in mental health disorders and therapeutic techniques, with proven aptitude in developing and executing robust treatment plans.

• Experience delivering therapy to diverse populations, demonstrating cultural competence and sensitivity to different client needs.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills, fostering trust and rapport with clients.

• Strong judgment, maintaining professional boundaries, and adherence to ethical guidelines in all interactions.

• Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and overall computer applications.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, ideally within an outpatient setting.

• Previous experience in conducting group therapy sessions or psychoeducational workshops is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, we provide a sign-on bonus to support your transition into our team.
