Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will:

• Identify and address social determinants of health that affect patient recovery, such as housing insecurity, employment issues, and access to healthcare resources.

• Advocate for patient rights, emphasizing culturally competent and patient-centered care practices throughout all interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will focus on serving a diverse range of patients experiencing various mental health conditions including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and adjustment issues. You will address the unique needs of each patient, recognizing the impact of life circumstances and social determinants on their mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• An active LCSW or LMFT license issued in the state of California.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability and willingness to connect with clients and collaborate effectively with a team.

• Experience navigating various insurance processes and obtaining NPI numbers to facilitate service delivery.

• A comprehensive understanding of creating and implementing functional treatment plans tailored to each client's unique situation.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling is required, we will prioritize candidates with 1-3 years of direct experience working with mental health patients in a clinical, hospital, or community setting.
