Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations to assess the mental health needs of trauma patients, ensuring accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies and coping mechanisms tailored to the unique circumstances and needs of each patient.

• Engage in active listening during patient sessions to fully understand their challenges, fears, and goals, fostering a trusting therapist-client relationship.

• Monitor patient progress through regular follow-ups and make necessary adjustments to their treatment plans based on their needs and responses.

• Educate patients and clinic staff on effective stress and trauma management techniques to enhance overall community well-being.

• Serve as a liaison between patients and various medical and social support services, coordinating care to ensure comprehensive, holistic treatment.

• Stay informed about advancements in the field by participating in continuing education courses and maintaining national certifications, such as the National Certified Counselor designation.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.

Compensation and Benefits\n
