Work Environment

As a remote therapist at Privia, you will work in a flexible and collaborative environment. Although primarily remote, you will be part of a dynamic team that meets regularly for case discussions and professional development. Our clinic operates during regular business hours, with occasional evening shifts to ensure we meet the needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for clients to accurately identify their mental health needs, subsequently creating individualized treatment plans that address these needs.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic services through individual, group, and family therapy, utilizing a variety of methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other recognized practices.
• Collaborate closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and other specialists to ensure that our clients receive coordinated and holistic care tailored to their specific situations.
• Deliver crisis intervention services for clients in acute distress, showcasing your expertise, compassion, and ability to assess risk effectively.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives and educational programs aimed at increasing mental health awareness and decreasing stigma surrounding mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population is diverse, encompassing individuals from all walks of life, including various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. You will engage with clients facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and interpersonal challenges. Your ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively will be instrumental in fostering therapeutic relationships that lead to positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active and independent clinical license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Possess a master's degree or doctorate in social work, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, psychology, or a closely related field.
• Exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, adept at connecting with clients and building trust.
• Demonstrate cultural competence, showcasing sensitivity and adaptability in dealing with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Possess strong organizational abilities and time-management skills, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of client interactions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in community mental health settings, particularly within a clinic or agency where collaboration is essential.
• Familiarity with the latest evidence-based practices in mental health treatment, aiding in the incorporation of these methodologies into client care.
• Previous experience in crisis management or intervention is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
