Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Elysium, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a diverse caseload of clients, building rapport and fostering therapeutic relationships while upholding professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conducting regular client check-ins to assess progress, address concerns, and discuss upcoming appointments or discharges when appropriate.

• Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique circumstances and needs.

• Maintaining meticulous documentation, including progress notes and intake assessments, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.

• Conducting individual therapy sessions that focus on enhancing the client's mental health and emotional well-being.

• Engaging in individual supervision sessions to refine clinical skills and receive feedback.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to coordinate care and facilitate comprehensive treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on youth and their families, targeting a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-related disorders. You will work with clients aged 6 to 18, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques designed to foster resilience and coping strategies during their formative years.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate must possess:

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.

• The capability to meet internal credentialing requirements in clinical settings.

• A minimum of one year of hands-on experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.

• Proficiency in conducting assessments, diagnoses, and delivering both individual and group therapy.
