Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions—including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)—tailored to each client's unique needs, aimed at reducing stress and cultivating emotional regulation.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clients' mental health challenges, stressors, and personal goals, allowing for customized therapy plans.
\n
• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation practices, and breathing techniques to enhance self-awareness, emotional balance, and stress management.

• Facilitate dynamic group workshops focusing on mindfulness practices, stress management, and building resilience to empower participants physically and emotionally.
\n
• Incorporate mindfulness practices into individual therapy sessions, focusing on specific mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, and trauma recovery.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that effectively integrate mindfulness therapies.

• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and mindfulness approaches for compliance and future reference.

• Engage in regular personal mindfulness practice and continuous professional development to enhance your expertise in mindfulness-based therapies and therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with a diverse array of clients, including those facing anxiety, depression, chronic stress, trauma, and other mental health issues. Many of our clients are looking to deepen their understanding of themselves through mindfulness, making your role critical in guiding them toward effective coping strategies and emotional growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, or LCMFT in the state of Maryland.

• Proven experience in counseling with a strong foundation in mindfulness practices; substantial training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction is preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to foster a calm, trusting therapeutic environment.

• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse needs of clients, ensuring an inclusive approach to mental health care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
