Work Environment This position is fully remote, leveraging telehealth technologies to reach clients effectively and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Engage in clinical consultation sessions with a multidisciplinary team to enhance care strategies and share knowledge. Ensure all clinical documentation is completed accurately and on time, adhering to established best practices and compliance standards. Provide direct services to clients, including comprehensive behavioral health assessments, therapeutic counseling, and case management tailored to individual needs. Collaborate with the prenatal care team, which may include medical providers, midwives, doulas, and lactation consultants, to ensure integrated and holistic client care. Co-facilitate childbirth education and postpartum peer support groups, enhancing peer connections and resources for families. Participate in community outreach and engagement initiatives aimed at promoting holistic wellness and collective support systems for birthing individuals and families. Patient Population / Client Focus Our primary focus is on Black birthing families who have historically faced challenges in accessing equitable healthcare and support services. In this role, you will provide culturally competent care that acknowledges and respects the unique experiences and needs of these communities, aiming to empower individuals and families through support and education. Qualifications A Master's degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited institution is required. Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) is mandatory. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse and multicultural client base and team members. Self-motivated and capable of working independently while collaborating within a team environment. Preferred Experience Experience working with pregnant and postpartum individuals, particularly those from underserved demographics. Familiarity with telehealth tools and platforms that enhance remote patient engagement and care delivery. Capacity for co-facilitating educational and support groups aimed at fostering community connections. Compensation and Benefits Connect Serenity Counseling Services, Inc. offers a competitive salary within the range of USD 120,000-130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
