Work Environment

This position is onsite and primarily focuses on home care, which allows Physical Therapists to work closely with patients in their living environments. This setting promotes a personalized approach to rehabilitation, helping patients achieve their recovery goals in the comfort of their homes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition and identify the most effective treatment strategies tailored to individual needs.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that incorporate hands-on therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, and comprehensive patient education.
• Provide care and innovative therapeutic strategies to three patients per hour, focusing on adult rehabilitation for those aged 40-65.
• Utilize technological tools such as CureMD Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for accurate documentation and streamlined communication with referring physicians.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients and referral sources, ensuring engagement and consistency in treatment plans.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic exercises and lifestyle modifications to promote long-term wellness and recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adult patients aged between 40 to 65 years, many of whom face challenges associated with rehabilitation following surgery, injury, or chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will empower these individuals, helping them regain mobility, strength, and overall functional independence. You will foster relationships that build trust, encouraging patients to take an active role in their recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required; a Master's Degree is preferred to enhance your qualifications.
• Current or eligible for a New Jersey Physical Therapist license.
• Possess strong clinical reasoning and interpersonal communication skills essential for effective patient interaction and collaboration.
• Ability to multitask while managing patient care efficiently in a home care setting.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred, although newly licensed candidates with a strong foundation in physical therapy may be considered.
• Prior outpatient clinic experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• An understanding of modern rehabilitation methodologies and practices.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 110,000 to 125,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
