Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients in their homes, understanding their unique needs and conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments that encompass exercises, stretches, hands-on techniques, and usage of specialized equipment aimed at reducing pain and improving mobility.
• Implement and document all therapies provided, tracking patient responses and progress meticulously.
• Regularly reevaluate therapy goals and modify treatment plans as necessary to optimize patient outcomes.
• Guide and train patients, family members, and caregivers on rehabilitation techniques, and when necessary, assistive devices for enhanced mobility and self-care.
• Maintain and enrich your professional knowledge by attending workshops, participating in continuing education, and staying updated with the latest physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse patient population ranging from children to elderly individuals, all with varying backgrounds and rehabilitation needs. Your focus will be on patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic illnesses, thus necessitating your ability to adapt treatment techniques to ensure maximum effectiveness and comfort for each unique individual.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is highly preferred.
• Current state license to practice Physical Therapy in Florida.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interactions with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in word processing and computerized documentation systems is required.
• A flexible and agile mindset to adapt to varying patient needs and home care environments.
• Although we value experience, prior work experience is not a strict requirement for motivated new graduates.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of relevant experience in physical therapy is desired but not mandatory.
• Experience in home care settings and a background working with diverse patient populations is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer:
