Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Agile Body Therapy & Home Care, you will work onsite in a supportive and collaborative environment. Our rehabilitation center boasts modern facilities designed to facilitate optimal recovery and rehabilitation. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation aides, to devise comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with a 40-hour work week dedicated to patient care and professional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical conditions and capabilities.
• Develop personalized treatment programs based on evaluation findings, patient goals, and evidence-based practices.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to optimize recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Provide educational resources and training for patients and their caregivers to encourage active participation in the rehabilitation process.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to maintain effective communication and contribute to interdisciplinary patient care discussions.
• Reach and exceed minimum utilization goals while contributing to the overall operational success of the rehabilitation center.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, pediatric patients with developmental conditions, neuromuscular disorders, and sports-related injuries. Your expertise will directly support patients at various stages of recovery, emphasizing personalized care and fostering long-term wellness. By understanding each patient's unique background, you will cultivate therapeutic relationships that empower them to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• Current state licensure to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively educate and engage with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
• A commitment to building strong, therapeutic relationships with patients to foster a supportive and motivating environment.

Preferred Experience

While not required, previous experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings, familiarity with various treatment modalities, and a background in patient education will be considered advantageous. Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
