Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments and create detailed treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Implement solution-focused therapy techniques and other evidence-based interventions to facilitate recovery.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with industry regulations.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and other professionals in a multidisciplinary treatment team to enhance patient care.
• Provide ongoing education and support to patients and their families, empowering them throughout the recovery process.
• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mental health and addiction treatment to enhance clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals facing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Our population is diverse, representing various backgrounds and experiences. You will guide patients in overcoming challenges related to addiction, fostering resilience, and helping them reintegrate into society with improved coping strategies.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required for this position.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Georgia.
• Proficiency in solution-focused psychotherapy and other evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a detox or addiction recovery setting is highly preferred.
