Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial interviews and evaluations to assess clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health.

• Document case histories meticulously from the initial consultation through to completion of treatment, ensuring accurate and timely records in our electronic health record system.
\n
• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans for various client groups, including individuals, couples, families, and therapy groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques to promote healing and personal growth.
\n
• Monitor and evaluate client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
\n
• Engage in collaborative planning with a multidisciplinary team of mental health specialists, doctors, and social workers to enhance the care provided to clients.
\n
• Provide follow-up with psychiatrists and attending physicians for clients who may require hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care.

• Recognize and mitigate behaviors that could hinder recovery and assist families in understanding and managing mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients facing varying mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to trauma and addiction. Your role is to provide professional, empathetic support, fostering a safe environment where clients can explore their feelings and experiences. By tailoring your approach to each individual's unique needs, you will help them navigate their recovery journey effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
\n
• A successful pass score on the NCE and/or NCMHCE .
\n
• Proficient use of electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR, and familiarity with relevant technology.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a mental health counseling role, with an emphasis on individual therapy and group facilitation.

• Experience treating clients with co-occurring physical and emotional health issues, including but not limited to addiction disorders.

• Deep understanding of mental health best practices as endorsed by organizations such as the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Strong knowledge of the interactions between medication regimes and mental health treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus.
