Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to assess the trauma history of each patient, ensuring that their unique circumstances are understood, and appropriate treatment plans are developed.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery, resilience, and skills-building for individuals dealing with PTSD and related disorders.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate recovery during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, ensuring that clients receive holistic and integrated support.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and ongoing support to help patients navigate trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and stability.

• Educate clients and families about trauma responses and effective coping strategies, empowering them to be active participants in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems to track progress and outcomes.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education opportunities to enhance knowledge of trauma-informed care.

You will primarily work with adults and adolescents who are grappling with the profound effects of trauma. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and present with a variety of challenges that require sensitivity, understanding, and a trauma-informed approach to treatment. Your role directly impacts their ability to process trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and ultimately lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and various trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Proficiency in EHR software and familiarity with relevant computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

While we require a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, candidates with extensive experience in trauma-focused therapy and innovative treatment approaches will be prioritized. Familiarity with evidence-based practices, including EMDR and TF-CBT, will enhance your fit for our team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
