This role requires a strong commitment to delivering culturally sensitive mental health services through a remote telehealth setting. We invite licensed professionals, including Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), to bring their expertise to our culturally diverse patient population in Amarillo, Texas.

Work Environment\n

This position is structured to be fully remote, allowing for flexibility while ensuring accessibility for patients. Our telehealth facility offers you the technology and support needed to provide effective therapy remotely. The position involves working Monday to Friday, typically from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient scheduling needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that are sensitive to the cultural backgrounds of clients, utilizing information to craft personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and culturally responsive strategies tailored to empower clients in their healing journey.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, focusing on resilience-building and addressing a variety of mental health challenges.

• Work in tandem with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to establish integrated and effective care plans.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for patients facing mental health emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, treatment procedures, and available community resources.

• Maintain compliant, accurate, and confidential documentation according to legal and ethical standards, ensuring all patient information is securely handled.

• Engage actively in team meetings, case discussions, and professional development opportunities to foster continual growth and learning.

• Stay current with emerging research, best practices, and cultural considerations in mental health care to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of our services includes individuals from various backgrounds, particularly those from ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ communities, and immigrant populations. This role will allow you to work closely with clients facing diverse psychological challenges, applying your unique therapeutic skills to promote an inclusive and supportive environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• A solid foundation in mental health diagnoses, treatment modalities, and cultural competence.
\n
• Experience in providing culturally sensitive individual and group therapy, reflecting true inclusivity in practice.

• Strong crisis intervention capabilities, demonstrating the ability to manage challenging situations with professionalism.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
