Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth preliminary interviews to assess clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health, ensuring thorough documentation throughout the therapeutic process.

• Develop comprehensive intervention and recovery plans tailored for individuals, couples, families, and groups based on each client’s unique needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methodologies and incorporating best practices from the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Monitor client progress against established treatment goals, adapting plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with other mental health specialists, medical doctors, nurses, and social workers to create cohesive intervention strategies that address clients' holistic needs.

• Ensure appropriate follow-up care by coordinating with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers for clients requiring hospitalization.

• Identify and proactively address behaviors that may impede recovery, facilitating supportive interventions for clients and their families.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counseling center serves a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction disorders. You will be working with members of the Las Vegas community, offering culturally sensitive and high-quality therapeutic support that addresses both immediate behavioral issues and long-term mental wellness goals. This position requires insight into underlying emotional and physical health conditions, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of how various factors contribute to mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Nevada.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor, with a strong foundation in various therapeutic techniques and practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
