Mountain Side Counseling & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a full-time role focused on providing mental health services in a school setting. This remote position allows for flexible scheduling options, including 4x10 or 5x8 shifts between 8 AM and 7 PM, Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW at Mountain Side Counseling, your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing psychotherapy or counseling services to students, parents, or school staff, adapting your approach to meet diverse needs.
\n
• Conducting thorough interviews to gather and interpret social, personal, and health information to formulate effective treatment plans.
\n
• Evaluating and treating behavioral health issues such as anxiety, stress management, depression, and family dynamics within the school setting.
\n
• Coordinating with school staff, teachers, and parents to develop programs and activities tailored to the social and emotional needs of students.
\n
• Facilitating cognitive, affective, and behavioral health cases, offering crisis intervention and developing referral pathways to community resources.
\n
• Building and maintaining trusting relationships with clients to foster a therapeutic environment conducive to their growth and healing.
\n
• Documenting all treatment plans, progress notes, and case assessments per regulatory standards and organizational protocols.
\n
• Managing your caseload effectively and ensuring timely and thorough documentation of all interactions and services provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with school-aged children and adolescents, alongside their families, addressing challenges related to mental health issues, behavioral concerns, and social-emotional learning. Your expertise will support students in navigating academic pressures and personal challenges, contributing to a positive and inclusive school climate.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Texas.

• Experience working in school systems or with children under supervision is highly preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum experience required is a commitment to providing high-quality mental health services, preference will be given to candidates with:

• At least four years of experience in a clinical social work role, particularly within educational or behavioral health settings.

• Prior counseling experience that includes working with issues such as depression, anxiety, family conflict, trauma, and grief. Familiarity with therapy techniques suited for children and adolescents is a plus.
