Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to identify client needs, enabling the development of tailored treatment plans that reflect their unique circumstances and goals.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver individual and family counseling sessions effectively.
• Lead psychoeducational and support groups, providing a safe space for clients to share experiences and learn from one another, enhancing community support.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for clients.
• Provide crisis intervention services, ensuring immediate support for clients during critical mental health emergencies.
• Educate clients on their mental health conditions, the available treatment options, and relevant community resources, fostering their empowerment and informed decision-making.
• Maintain detailed and confidential client records in strict accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.
• Engage in regular professional development and case consultations to stay updated with the latest research and advancements in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of clients presenting various mental health concerns, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Emphasis is placed on understanding individual client experiences and adapting treatment plans accordingly.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid licensure as Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Washington.
• Extensive understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Proven skills in conducting thorough mental health assessments and crafting effective treatment strategies.
• Experience in delivering individual and group therapy to a wide variety of populations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, fostering strong therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Demonstrated sound judgment, maintaining professional boundaries and ethical standards throughout client interactions.
• Comfort and proficiency in using EHR systems and other computer applications for efficient practice management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in outpatient mental health settings, particularly with diverse and vulnerable populations.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote counseling practices, ensuring a smooth transition for clients.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a generous salary, our benefits package includes:
