Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions and assessments from the comfort of your home while leveraging our advanced telehealth technology. Your work schedule will typically be from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday , enabling a balanced work-life integration while fulfilling your professional responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand each patient's unique situation and mental health needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based strategies tailored to each individual.

• Provide ongoing support and counseling to patients, assisting them in coping with trauma-related issues through structured therapy sessions.

• Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on coping mechanisms and available resources to foster resilience and recovery.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers and community organizations to facilitate comprehensive care for patients.

• Participate in continuous professional development and maintain national certification standards through ongoing education.

• Advocate for improved assessment and support systems for trauma patients in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on patients who have experienced significant trauma, including but not limited to physical injuries and emotional distress stemming from various life events. You will work closely with individuals who may require specialized coping strategies to manage their mental and emotional health effectively. Our goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment where patients can share their experiences and begin their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• A valid Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) certification.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working specifically with trauma patients.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with excellent communication skills.

• Experience with Salesforce and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
