Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individualized mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to address clients’ stress, anxiety, and overall mental health goals.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to evaluate each client’s unique stressors, mental health challenges, and personal aspirations, tailoring intervention strategies accordingly.
\n
• Lead guided mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathwork sessions, fostering self-awareness and emotional regulation in clients.
\n
• Facilitate engaging group workshops on mindfulness practices, stress management, and building resilience, creating an interactive learning environment.

• Integrate mindfulness approaches into individual therapy sessions, addressing specific mental health concerns while promoting clients’ overall wellness journey.

• Collaborate closely with fellow therapists and healthcare providers, ensuring a holistic treatment plan that includes mindfulness practices as a core component.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, mindfulness interventions, and treatment plans to monitor progress and outcomes.

• Commit to ongoing personal mindfulness practice and professional development to enhance skill in mindfulness-based therapies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, and other mental health challenges. Your expertise will help clients develop personalized strategies for managing their mental and emotional health, using evidence-based mindfulness practices tailored to their unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as an LCISW (Licensed Clinical Independent Social Worker), LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in Massachusetts.

• Robust understanding of therapeutic practices, with a focus on mindfulness and its application within therapeutic settings.

• Strong communication skills that enable you to create an empathetic and trustworthy environment conducive to client success.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) or similar mindfulness practices is highly valued, although not strictly required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
