Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments of clients to understand their mental health status, including conducting thorough intake interviews and using standardized assessment tools.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized therapy plans that address their unique challenges and goals.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques that cater to the specific needs of our diverse client population.

• Monitor client progress and adapt therapeutic interventions as necessary, using data to inform treatment decisions.

• Provide referrals to other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, when medication management or additional support is required.

• Participate in regular supervision meetings to discuss case management and treatment strategies within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of four years of experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating a deep understanding of various mental health disorders and therapeutic modalities.

• Effective crisis intervention skills with the ability to manage high-stress situations calmly and professionally.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, crucial for building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant digital technologies for client management.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in both individual and group therapy settings, utilizing culturally responsive treatment approaches.

• Familiarity with evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• A strong commitment to ethical practice, professional boundaries, and maintaining client confidentiality.

• Prior work in a telehealth environment is a plus but not required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education.
