This role is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while providing essential services. Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as necessary to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents to personalize treatment plans effectively.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies that consider each patient's developmental stage, family dynamics, and cultural background.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to help patients navigate mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, equipping parents and caregivers with tools to enhance the supportive environment at home.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other specialists in a multidisciplinary approach, ensuring that the care delivered is cohesive and comprehensive.

• Respond proactively to mental health emergencies, providing immediate crisis intervention and support to affected children and their families.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, effective coping strategies, treatment options, and available community resources.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in line with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development opportunities to continuously improve care delivery.

• Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry to enhance therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents facing a spectrum of mental health challenges, including but not limited to mood disorders, attention disorders, and behavioral issues. By working closely with young patients, you will foster a trusting relationship that promotes open communication, allowing for deeper engagement in their therapeutic journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Valid and current licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), or LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor) in the state of New York.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of common child and adolescent mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proven ability to deliver both individual and family therapy effectively, with experience in remote therapy settings being a plus.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and child-centered approach.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfortable with technology in clinical workflows.

• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, offering insights and integrating various perspectives into patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated experience working in outpatient psychiatric settings, particularly with children and adolescents, and have familiarity with family dynamics in treatment scenarios.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
