Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and diagnoses of patients experiencing chronic pain, utilizing clinical assessments, laboratory tests, and diagnostic imaging as necessary.
• Identify patients who may benefit from interventional pain management procedures and provide recommendations for treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications aligned with patient-specific therapeutic goals, clearly communicating treatment plans to patients and their families.
• Consult regularly with attending physicians and various healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations, documenting findings and formulating management plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Monitor and reassess patients' health status through regular follow-ups, ensuring adjustments to treatment plans as required.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited institution.
• Current and active licensure as a Physician Assistant in New York State.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably in a pain management or musculoskeletal setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $150,000 to $180,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
