Work Environment\n

This role is designed to be fully remote, allowing for flexibility and the ability to connect with clients from the comfort of your own home. Monday through Friday, your work hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders in clients.

• Collaborate closely with clients to design tailored treatment plans that align with their specific goals and personal preferences.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to achieve positive client outcomes.

• Facilitate psychoeducation sessions for clients and their families, providing valuable information about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor client progress, document therapeutic interventions, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to enhance effectiveness.

• Engage in integrated care practices by collaborating with psychiatrists and medical professionals to ensure holistic treatment approaches.

• Stay informed on the latest research developments concerning mood disorders to continually refine treatment strategies.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines while managing client records and documentation.

• Advocate for clients’ rights and needs, particularly in addressing stigma surrounding mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role as an LMFT will concentrate on helping individuals who are struggling with mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. In addition to individual therapy, you will also focus on providing care for specific populations such as the homeless, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse. Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
