Work Environment\n

This remote role allows you to work from the comfort of your home while engaging with a collaborative team of mental health professionals. Our practice maintains a flexible work environment and promotes a healthy work-life balance. You will have the tools and technology needed to deliver care effectively, while also having the freedom to schedule appointments around your personal commitments. Our operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some scheduling flexibility based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for new clients to ascertain their individual needs and develop customized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy in both individual and group settings.
\n
• Facilitate support groups to foster community and decrease feelings of isolation among clients facing common mental health challenges.
\n
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate care and ensure a holistic approach to treatment.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services and support to clients during mental health emergencies, employing effective de-escalation techniques.
\n
• Educate clients on various treatment options, coping strategies, and available community resources to promote empowerment in their recovery journeys.

• Maintain detailed and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system proficiently.

• Participate in ongoing case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education sessions to stay abreast of developments in the mental health field.

As a mental health therapist at Life Works Psychiatric Center, you will work with a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges. Your work will involve engaging with adults and families who seek support for conditions such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related issues, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders and a strong background in evidence-based therapies.

• Exceptional skills in conducting mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment plans tailored to diverse populations.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that foster rapport with clients and facilitate teamwork.

• High level of professionalism, sound judgment, and commitment to ethical practices.

• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with necessary computer applications.

• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience providing individual and group therapy in a mental health or clinical setting.
