Work Environment\n

This position operates remotely, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance while serving clients primarily within the school setting. Our team collaborates closely to develop strategies and solutions that address the complex needs of young children and their families, utilizing technology and virtual communication tools to facilitate assessments and interventions.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify the strengths and needs of children and families.
\n
• Collaborate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of enrolled families.
\n
• Monitor and evaluate progress and outcomes, participating in team meetings to review and adjust intervention strategies as necessary.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices to create joint plans with families and recommend personalized strategies that align with Natural Learning Environment Practices.
\n
• Deliver ongoing support and resources to families, equipping them with effective tools and knowledge to enhance their child’s development.
\n
• Foster strong relationships with children, families, and fellow team members to cultivate an effective and healthy learning environment.
\n
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations relevant to social work practices in a school setting.
\n
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance service delivery and stay up-to-date with best practices in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on serving children aged birth to three years who are experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. Empower Well Therapy’s children’s services aim to support these young individuals in acquiring the critical skills necessary for their growth, including physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills. By providing targeted interventions and support to families, we promote positive developmental outcomes for our clients.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work, with active licensure through the Department of Public Health as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• At least one year of direct experience working with children and families, preferably in early intervention services.
\n
• Strong understanding of Natural Learning Environment Practices and the ability to apply these strategies effectively.
\n
• Valid driver’s license and ability to ensure transport to relevant community meetings and service locations, as necessary.
\n
• Exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills to facilitate effective collaborations and service delivery.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
