Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting individual and group therapy sessions via video conferencing, aimed at addressing specific behavioral challenges faced by the children.

• Implementing evidence-based interventions focused on anger management, social skills development, and coping strategies to mitigate high-risk behaviors.
\n
• Collaborating closely with the Child Family Treatment Team and other multidisciplinary professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each child's needs.
\n
• Providing training and support to primary caregivers to enhance their ability to manage in-home behavioral challenges effectively.
\n
• Maintaining precise and timely documentation, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
\n
• Participating in monthly team meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and contribute recommendations for treatment enhancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on providing therapeutic services to children and adolescents with developmental and intellectual disabilities, including those experiencing challenges such as anxiety, emotional dysregulation, and behavioral issues. The therapist will work to create a supportive environment, fostering growth and resilience among both youths and caregivers.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field.
\n
• An active and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license.
\n
• Availability of a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours, specifically from 4 PM to 7 PM, with additional weekend availability considered a valuable asset.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for potential in-person meetings.
\n
• A clean criminal background clearance, including fingerprinting, in accordance with state regulations.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
