The High Precision Therapeutic Center is actively seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Chesapeake, Virginia. Work Environment

This position is onsite, enabling direct interaction with patients in a collaborative outpatient practice environment. You will work primarily Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life commitment. Key Responsibilities

• Engage effectively with patients to recognize and fulfill their goals and therapy needs, tailoring each approach to suit individual circumstances.
• Maintain a structured patient load of one client per hour to provide focused and personalized care.
• Draw upon your specialized experience in orthopedic outpatient care to offer informed, cost-effective treatment solutions that improve patients' motion and mobility.
• Limit reliance on medications by advocating for and implementing evidence-based non-surgical alternatives wherever possible.
• Devise comprehensive care plans utilizing a range of treatment techniques, ensuring that each plan reflects the latest best practices in physical therapy.
• Customize fitness and wellness programs tailored to the needs of your patients, promoting sustainable health improvements.
• Utilize strong manual therapy skills to support patient rehabilitation effectively, contributing to faster recovery times and improved outcomes.
• Motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, fostering a sense of empowerment as they progress toward their functional goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree and valid Physical Therapist license in Virginia.
• Clean licensure status, free of any board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Demonstrated competency in manual therapy techniques.
• Expertise in developing tailored exercise routines that reflect individual patient capabilities and rehabilitation goals.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT, to document patient care efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a physical therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Experience in utilizing various therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation strategies, especially in sports-related injuries.

Compensation and Benefits

We are offering a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
