This position offers a completely remote work environment via telehealth, allowing you to connect with clients across various locations, including Hempstead, New York. In this role, you will conduct sessions primarily via secure video chat, adhering to ethical standards while focusing on individualized client care.

• Conduct ethical and compassionate mental health counseling sessions using secure video conferencing platforms.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will generally include stable, low-acuity adults facing a variety of mental health issues. These may range from mild anxiety and depression to life stressors that require support. As a counselor, you will play a vital role in enhancing their quality of life by providing therapeutic insights and teaching practical coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in a counseling-related discipline, such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A current state-issued mental health counseling license allowing for independent practice (no limited or provisional licenses). Licenses such as LMFT, LCSW, LPC, or PsyD are preferred.

• No current or past disciplinary actions related to your counseling license.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills combined with a compassionate nature that fosters a trusting therapeutic relationship.

• Strong computer literacy skills, including the ability to effectively use video conferencing tools.

• Access to a computer equipped with webcam and audio capabilities, along with reliable internet.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience providing virtual therapy or counseling services is highly desirable, with a track record of successfully assisting clients in addressing their mental health concerns. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities will be advantageous in effectively catering to a diverse clientele.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $104,000 annually, alongside a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
